FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Below are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions. If you do not see an answer to your question below, please contact customer service.

How does your memorial tree service work?

Through sponsorship of conservation organizations and reforestation projects in the UK, we will arrange to have a young tree (or a thicket of multiple young trees) planted in tribute to your honoree. We will then send you or your gift recipient a keepsake card in the mail to commemorate the honorary tree planting.

Is your online store secure?

Yes! Our store is hosted through a PCI-DSS validated Level 1 Service Provider (which is the gold standard for e-commerce solutions worldwide).

We care about your security, which is why MemorialTreeUK.com is integrated only with secure and reliable payment gateways, which use AVS check and other verification technologies to avoid fraudulent payments and guarantee the safety of sensitive information.

How long does it take for the keepsake card to be delivered?
Orders are processed within 1-3 business days and cards are mailed out via USPS First Class Mail.

Please allow up to 7-10 days for card delivery. FedEx and UPS expedited shipping options are available for customers in the United States and Canada.

Can I have the keepsake card(s) mailed to myself?

Yes, you can have the keepsake card(s) shipped to your home or business address.

Can I choose where the tree will be planted?

Yes, at this time you can choose to have your tree planted in England, Scotland or Ireland. You can choose from a list of available tree planting regions when placing your order. Customer service can also provide you with more information on where we are currently having our trees planted.

When will the tree(s) be planted?

Generally the following year/planting season from when the order is placed.

Who plants the trees?

Each region has thoroughly vetted tree planting partners that we plant our honorary trees through.  We look for conservation organizations with a proven track record in the region (such as working with a national park/forest or a local community), planting with proper tree species, and also tree survival rates. If you are a non-profit conservation organization that plants trees in the UK, you can email us at info@memorialtreeuk.com to discuss a potential partnership.

Can I visit my tree or grove?

Exact locations of our saplings are not tracked for us, due to the resources that this would require of the conservation organizations that plant the trees.

Are any markers, plaques, signs, etc. installed at the planting sites?

No, the trees are planted in a natural setting within the woodlands.

Can I pick what type of tree is planted?

No, the broadleaf trees will be native to the region they are eventually planted on, and are selected solely by our conservation partners in the UK.

Where are you currently having trees planted?

England, Scotland and Ireland.

What is your keepsake card quality like?

Our cards are 8.5 x 11, suitable for framing, and printed on a thick, high quality cardstock that won't yellow or fade with age.

I have not received my keepsake card and think it might be lost in the mail, what should I do?

Please contact customer service for assistance. We maintain a digital archive of all memorial tree plantings, so reprints are never an issue. We will confirm your mailing address with the postal service and send out a replacement card at no additional charge.
